Mijn motivatie

This November, I’m taking on Movember by growing a moustache and running 5K every single day for the entire month.

That’s 150km in 30 days.

Which, in hindsight, is a fairly stupid amount of running to voluntarily sign myself up for.

I’ll be running before work, after work, in the rain, in the cold and on the days where I’ll be doing absolutely everything I can to convince myself that today can be a rest day, even through the inevitable injuries.

It can't.

The moustache, thankfully, isn't too much of a concern. I can actually pull one off, so at least I'll be looking like an absolute machine while suffering through the runs.

The reason I'm doing it is to raise money for Movember and help support men's health, including mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

These are issues that affect a lot of men, but aren't always talked about enough. If I can run 5K a day and raise a bit of money at the same time, then it's well worth the inevitable pain in my legs.

So if you can spare a few quid, I'd massively appreciate it. €5, €10, whatever you can afford. Every donation will give me another reason not to sack it off halfway through the month.

And if you can't donate, sharing the page would mean a lot too.
