The Movember Student Ambassador Programme is officially open for applications in the Netherlands.
Students we want you – Movember is looking for supporters to step up and become Movember Student Ambassadors in the Netherlands.
Do you care about making a difference? Are you motivated to go the extra mile and learn more about men’s health issues? Could you represent the Moustache at your university? Then this is the role for you.

What is Movember?
Movember is a global charity that raises funds to change the face of men’s health in the areas of mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Every year, men grow a moustache during the month of November and raise funds while doing so. But anyone can get involved and there are plenty of ways to fundraise for those who do not have a Moustache.
Our ambassadors achieve great things every year in service to the Moustache, and this year that could be you.

What we want from you
As a Student Ambassador, you’ll lead your university in Movember’s nation-wide fundraising challenge. Competing for glory against other universities, you will:
- Rally sign-ups among students from all areas of your university
- Inspire students to fundraise for Movember, offering support, ideas and motivation throughout the month
- Host fun and engaging events
- Create a powerful sense of community across campus
And all while spreading life-saving awareness of mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
How it works
The programme starts with training at Movember HQ in London, UK (accommodation and travel costs are covered) or online at the start of September. The Movember team train ambassadors with everything they need to know about Movember, giving them the tools, confidence and knowledge to go away and run a great campaign with their fellow-students.
Ambassadors then take over their associations, fraternities and sports clubs, recruiting students to sign up and join their student fundraising. You can get as creative as you want, we’ve seen shave down events, ultramarathons, cold water swimming, sports tournaments, dance-a-thons and of course, a lot of Moustache growing.
What you get from us
It’s an epic opportunity for students looking to gain key skills and experience in leadership, marketing, events and fundraising. In return, all ambassadors will receive references from Movember, personalised support from Movember staff, and goodies to represent the charity while you're out and about.
