My motivation

Dit jaar wil ik weer geld inzamelen voor meer onderzoek naar teelbalkanker. Teelbalkanker is de meest voorkomende kanker bij jonge mannen. Door de onderzoeken is deze vorm van kanker steeds beter behandelbaar.

Ook ik heb deze nare vorm van kanker zeven jaar geleden moeten ondergaan en heb ik meegedaan aan een onderzoek wat nog steeds gaande is. Door deze onderzoeken is teelbalkanker steeds beter behandelbaar.
Helaas heb ik ook moeten meemaken dat niet iedereen deze ziekte overleefd.

De Movember Foundation zet zich in voor mentale gezondheid, preventie van zelfmoord, prostaatkanker en teelbalkanker en ik wil mijn steentje hiervoor bijdragen.
