My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mentale gezondheid en preventie van zelfmoord

This is the first time ever that I am taking part in Movember.

Maybe because I can finally — at 32 — grow somewhat of a moustache, but more importantly because I have a personal reason: mental health.

It's an issue that affects so many men — far more than we often talk about — and right now, I’m dealing with my own struggles as well. In that situation, growing a moustache might seem small, but for me it's a way to show up. A way to start a conversation. A way to remind others (and myself) that asking for help is okay.

Movember supports programs that make a real difference for men who are struggling, whether it’s with mental health, suicide prevention, or just finding the courage to talk about what’s going on beneath the surface.

If you choose to support my Movember journey, thank you — it genuinely means a lot. And even if this story brings in zero donations but encourages one person to open up, I’ll call this moustache a success.

*My first target is €500. If we don't reach it, I will bridge the gap myself. If we do reach €500, I will increase the target to €750 by €250 (incrementally after that) and bridge the gap until that amount is reached.*
